01 / The challenge
Selling digital goods means the product is a code: it has to reach the right buyer right after payment, never twice, and stay retrievable later. Buyers also want to ask the seller questions before paying.
02 / The approach
A Django back-end with a catalogue by category and a featured carousel, a session cart, orders with a status trail and a checkout that accepts a transfer receipt. Each paid order generates a unique key per game, stored in the buyer's "My games" library. Sellers get a dashboard of their listings, and every listing has its own buyer and seller conversation. Styled with Tailwind, containerised with Docker and deployed on Railway with PostgreSQL.
03 / The outcome
A complete purchase loop, from browsing to key delivery, presented and defended as my Bachelor's final project at UMMTO.
